I arrived at Kotoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana on November 2nd. After spending the day in Amsterdam, and arriving in 30degree Celsius heat I was sweating. I was so glad that I left my light winter coat with my mom at the airport. I won't be needing it for a long time.
I hadn't been to Ghana in over eight years. Imagine my surprise to see the increase of corporate culture starting with the banners in the entryway of the airport....'Vodofone welcomes you to Ghana'.
I met a couple of interesting Americans while waiting to get through the customs/immigration line. One man was here to preach at Agape church the woman, Katia was here to do some agricultural research. She was very nice and will be here for about 3 months. I gave her my contact info, hopefully we'll connect while she's here.
It was an exhausting journey. But, I made it and I'm excited!
